About Us
Gerrit & Elriza Janse van Rensburg is the new owners of Thylitshia Villa Guesthouse since March 2012. We were farming with sheep and angora goats about 200 km from Oudtshoorn in the Great Karoo for 28 years. We are blessed with two beautiful daughters. After they graduated at the world known University of Stellenbosch, we decided to sell our farm. We were looking for a place with peace, a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere.
We came upon this beautiful place named, Thylitshia Villa Guesthouse. The previous owners, Thys & Letitia du Toit, renovated it in a Cape Dutch Style Guesthouse in 1984. The Original house was built in the early 1900's.
We fell in love with this place and the beautiful surroundings. We renovated it in the most beautiful Vintage Guesthouse. We hope to make your stay here a memorable moment. Our staff and we will do everything possible to serve you in any way. We would like to invite you to come and share our piece of heaven with us.
