Thylitshia is a working ostrich and wine farm, and in addition to the comfortable surroundings of the guest accommodation, we offer a full range of farm activities.

Guests are treated to a private tour of the farm starting with the incubators where visitors can experience chicks hatching, and working through the various stages of development leading to the adult birds.

Enjoy a leisurely home-cook farm breakfast or a health breakfast either on the patio (weather permitting) or in the colonial style dining room with a display of local art and original Dover Coal Stove dating back to the early 1900’s, still in working order during winter.
